︎ Statement

My practice focuses on the research of “fantasy” existence in the technologically mediated landscape that our contemporary society inhabits. I stand by the idea that persisting on these sensitivities activates systems of communal care, supports the recognition of “otherness”, and enables alternative realities.

Grounding my practice in the technical image, I think of my projects as narratives or environments constructed through the dialogue of photography, moving image, sculpture and installation. I like to keep technical apparatuses visible, transforming them into sculptural elements and intimate presences rather than hidden tools. I believe that changing the perception of time and forms allows the manifestation of what I call “fantasy”: everything that belongs to the inexplicable void of the unknown. Spirituality, magic, the supernatural. My works delve into how it appears through the encounter of soft and hard elements, through dialogues between human soul and urbanity, nature and technology, body and mediated landscape.
